It’s time for us to unite! Join us for the GOBS Autumnal Open Mic down at The Carousel this October!
Every quarter, GOBS Collective meet up to connect, share news, write and perform poetry, and celebrate the season we find ourselves in.
At the GOBS Autumnal Open Mic, you can expect:
Open mic names drawn from The Witch’s Cauldron!
Rolling writing activities
Spooky snacks by ‘Scary’ Sarah Wheatley, including ‘Blood Biscuits’ and the like
Prizes for the creepiest clothed poet (Dark Ink: A Poetry Anthology Inspired by Horror, £10 gift card for Five Leaves Bookshop, plus a very special Zombie Carrot)
Your open mic will be hosted by the fantastic Rehannah Mian.

8.40pm -Most Spookily Suited Prize Announced
We warmly (and loosely) encourage you to bring along your Autumn- and Halloween-themed poetry to perform. Feel free to use the prompts below to write some material!
Please feel free to bring something along for the buffet - if you do, please include a note with all ingredients to go alongside your contribution.
